Challenge

Länsförsäkringar offers a pest control service for agriculture, primarily targeting mice and rats. Traditional methods of pest control are ineffective and imprecise, leading to large outbreaks of rodents or the spread of significant amounts of pesticides.

Solution

Together we developed an online service for effective pest control using both pesticides and non-toxic methods. Smart sensors register movement and impact, measure bait levels, and monitor when the station needs maintenance. All data is collected and visualized in Purplepoint™ with a map view and smart zone logic for alarm management and efficient service planning. The service also includes a mobile app with tailored functionality for easy on-site maintenance. The service was complemented with fire extinguisher checks to create additional value for the customer.
