Sveaskog, as a leading producer of forest seedlings, relies on a steady production flow from sowing to fully cultivated seedlings. Since the production line consists of machines from various suppliers, it was challenging to get a coherent view of the flow – both in real time and during follow-up. Downtimes caused delays, and it was difficult to trace the reasons for failures.

Solution

With Purplepoint Grabber, we were able to quickly connect Sveaskog's existing machines – without disrupting the control systems. The Grabber wirelessly mirrors sensor signals to the Purplepoint Cloud, where data is visualized for different user groups. Production personnel see the status in real-time via screens, while management receives decision support for optimization.
